The 2026 Toyota Easter Festival will be a thrilling showcase of equestrian excellence, taking place from March 28 to April 6 at the sprawling Kyalami Park Club.

The country’s leading equestrian event not only embodies the intense focus, athleticism, and determination of the sport but also celebrates the special bond of trust formed between horse and rider.

The festival has transformed into a highly anticipated highlight of the South African equestrian calendar. Through this continued collaboration, the event has significantly raised competition standards and expanded audience engagement, attracting equestrian enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds.

This year, the festival promises to exceed expectations with over 5,000 entries across four prominent disciplines: Dressage, Equitation, Showing, and Show Jumping. Children, teens, and seasoned riders alike will battle it out for championship titles, making this a perfect outing for families or anyone seeking an exciting sporting experience.

But the Easter Festival is not just about the competitions. It will feature an array of engaging activities that cater to families and visitors, including a vibrant parade of Toyota vehicles showcasing the latest innovations, fun-filled Easter egg hunts to delight younger visitors, and various food and market stalls offering local delicacies and artisanal products.

There will be kids’ entertainment to keep the little ones occupied. A myriad of festival attractions ensures something for everyone. Excitingly, entry to this illustrious event is completely free, welcoming families and friends from all corners of the region to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere.

Heather Mpofu, Event Director at Kyalami Park Club, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "that it not only showcases equestrian excellence at the highest level on the continent but also warmly welcomes new audiences to experience all that this sport and its community have to offer. The prizes are significant; the grounds are pristine. The competition will be fierce, and the atmosphere will be electric.”

The climax of the festival comes on Monday, April 6, at 2pm, with the much-anticipated 1.50m Toyota SA Outdoor Grand Prix. Designed by renowned course builder Ryan Sander, this Grand Prix promises challenging fences and distances that will reward exceptional execution from riders, making for a thrilling finale to this esteemed event..
